Sangre Grande Regional Corporation Alderman, Roger Monroe, grew up in Damarie Hill, Sangre Grande and still lives in the area. He believes in service, assists the less fortunate, and the youths of the Sangre Grande area.
KEY ISSUES
He plans on industrialising the agriculture sector to promote food and job security. He would promote community-based tourism also aimed at job creation and the promotion of sports. The completion of the Sangre Grande Hospital is something he intends to see through. Educational and vocational development would be the focus for youth as well as the revitalisation of sporting groups and disciplines and the construction of sporting facilities. Monroe promises that the Toco Port project would continue if he is elected.
