Toco Anglican Primary School Remote Learning Needs

As educational institutions in the area begin Term I 2020/21 this week, both primary and secondary schools in the Toco region need assistance from their community to help with the remote learning transition. Toco Anglican School will be conducting their remote learning in a two-prong manner as the Ministry of Education advises: Category I – online learning and Category II – printed packages. The primary school has expressed interest in community assistance to help maintain the high quality of education they usually provide. Students who are being taught in category I will work on platforms such as google classroom, WhatsApp, LMS,( ministry website), and/or zoom. According to the school’s administration, “basic links will be downloaded and forwarded so parents will not have any difficulty in logging on.” Students who are being taught in category II will use notebooks to be picked and dropped off on rotation at the school.
